We normally sit in the back of the church, so that if someone needs to be taken out quickly - nobody will notice, but since we have the host kids with us we have been letting them pick out seats for us. Of course they always want to sit on the FRONT row!!! All eyes are on us as we make our way down front. I can always hear people counting the kids as we march by. Our church is huge, so I am sure most people do not know that we are hosting these kids. They assume that we are just a large family.
The kids seem to enjoy church. They especially enjoy the music. We have a band that plays modern music... even Jonathan gets into it! He dances, signs and plays his air guitar! During the teaching portion of church, the kids sit there quietly and fill out their bulletin that they are given before church.
Today after church, Kolia came home and typed in the words from his church bulletin into our translator so that he could understand what was being taught today. I thought that was very impressive! He came to me while I was making lunch and said "now I understand!"

That Kolia is quite a clever boy—I love that he wanted to know the meaning behind the "words." Also great gag gift. It's the gift that keeps on giving.
