I wasn't going to mention this, but there seems to have been some confusion surrounding the comments. Just to let you know, I am monitoring the comments, so when you leave a comment it's emailed to me. I have to approve the comment before it is published on my blog. So, just to clarify.... you will not see your comment appear until I approve it.... which may take a day or two depending on how crazy my life is. :)
I can not believe it, but I got some nasty comments from some crazy person regarding our adoption of a special needs child... since then I have put the comments on moderation. I may even take the blog private if this continues! Hopefully this person will crawl back under that rock where she belongs! My son is "my precious gift from God" and he deserves to be here in America more than some people I know who were born here! And just for the record, we do not receive ANY benefits for him (NO SS Disability, NO Medicaid, NOTHING). We only have private insurance... he is not a burden to the US tax payers!
We will be making payments to the hospital for a loooong time! And that is OUR choice!

Holly, that is despicable for anyone to leave a comment even suggesting any of those things you eluded to. Don't let them get to you. That poor woman will never get to experience the wonder and love that comes from adopting a child internationally.
I don't know what to say. Some people are just ignorant. Let's all hope for your sake she does crawl under a rock. Ugh.
