The Dog has got to go!

I love dogs, but our little dog, Cooper is a vicious little guy. He bit Alexis on her nose about 6 months ago and she now has 2 scars even after using the scar reducing cream! He has also bit the kids on the hands several times. He has never bit Jonathan, but when he was smaller Cooper would try to pull at his diaper and he would jump on him (Cooper only weighs 4 lbs). I had tried to put up with the dog because Josh Loves him so much, BUT I think I have had enough! Last Saturday he bit Jack on the bottom of his foot. I immediately cleaned the wound with antiseptic wash, then I applied neosporine and a bandage. I repeated that process several times of the next few days. Then I noticed the dreaded red streaks coming from the wound - up Jackson's leg! Jack has had the red streaks on 2 other occasions, so I knew what it was and knew that he needed to see the DR asap! Sure enough, he has Celluitis! So he is now on an antibiotic, which is a scary thing for us because he is allergic to so many antibiotics! I do not like for him to be on antibiotics unless it is absolutely necessary - there are so few them that he can take, I would not want him to build up a tolerance to those... then we would be out of luck. Obviously, Celluitis is one of those things that he HAS to have an antibiotics, so we are keeping a close eye on him. As for the dog... I wish Josh would let us find another home for him! The kids love Cooper! Josh Loves Cooper! I have moments when I like Cooper, But he is a lot of work for me and I can not allow him to hurt the children.
