GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Host kids got their passports today!!!!!!!!!!! WHOOO HOOOOO! A big thank you to everyone that prayed for this!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had faith that everything would work out, but to get the call from NHFC saying that everything is going to happen was wonderful! I stopped at Wal-Mart on the way home from the eye DR in ATL to buy a few of the things I had held off on buying until we knew for sure that they are coming. As Jonathan and I were picking out hats, gloves, and other necessities, I was overcome with emotions! I can not explain why, but I can say that I feel so honored to be a part of this hosting program - this is going to be an amazing Christmas!

Our other good news is... Jonathan's eye dr finally cleared him for eye surgery! After wearing glasses and patching his right eye (what a pain!) for 2 years, his eye sight is now good enough to correct the crossing!!! The Dr's nurse will call me with the surgery date on Monday, so I will let everyone know the exact date asap!

Funny story:
When I was getting dressed this morning Jonathan said "Mommy are those 3 kids in your tummy?" I said "No honey, they are big kids like Jack and Alexis, but when they were babies they came from another mommy's tummy just like you did. They live in an orphanage just like you lived in while you were waiting for mommy and daddy to adopt you." Obviously, my explanation didn't go too far because he has rubbed my tummy several times today - saying the kids are in there! One of the nurses asked if I was expecting! Oh my!!!

Yay! Congratulations! I'm so happy this is working out and going to happen for you! I can't imagine how ecstatic you must feel! I got goosebumps just reading about it. If you ever need anything while they're here (or before), just let me know, we're close.

Also, Happy Belated Birthday!

That is such great news—so, so happy for you!!!!!! And can you imagine how elated those children (in your tummy—ha, ha) must feel? I'm so filled with joy right now and can't wait to "meet" them via your blog. Such a wonderful (and memorable) Christmas this will be. I'm counting down the days!!!!
