I tossed and turned all night - didn't sleep much because I was thinking about who it was going to be. I went through ever scenario in my head. Bottom line - things have got to change because more and more people are loosing their jobs and our economy is in a mess - I don't know if Obama or McCain can do anything for us other than find a way to tax us to death, but I am praying that someone can do something!
On to more fun things...
So the other day my Mother-in-law was telling me that she was at her yoga class (while she was staying at her beach house in FL) when she met a lady who had just recently returned from Kaz with a beautiful baby girl. I asked her what the lady and her baby looked like? She went on to tell me some other details and I said "Wait, I think I know her... it has to be Susan!" I had been following Susan's blog and even when her blog was private while she was in Kaz I still followed her story through friends that had access to her blog. The Kaz adoption community is pretty tight! So I sent my MIL a link to Susan's blog, so she could confirm that is was her. Sure enough - it was! Then I emailed Susan to tell her and she was as shocked as I was! What a small world!
Today's happenings:
Alexis and Jackson have piano lessons this morning. Then Alexis has horseback riding lessons and I have to Home school somewhere in between. Wednesday's are always crazy for us!
I thought I would include a pic of Alexis at horseback:

Hello,
Thanks for leaving a comment on our site and we have added you to the invite list for the other one. I read a little on your blog and wondered how you went about having host children come to stay with you. If you did decide to adopt these children would it count towards the bonding period that is normally required in country so that you'd only have to travel for court? We are also interested in hosting possibly next summer but don't know who to contact. Thanks!
Catherine
Sorry, I was also going to say that we live in Canada so we'd have to contact different agencies in order to host, but maybe whoever you went through might know. : ) Thanks!
I am the famous yoga girl with the cute baby girl-YES I AM! :)
such a wild story.
I voted, with Leeza in the ergo. I had a hard time reading the propositions because she was grabbing the pen. :)
I hope that Obama can turn things around-we sure need a change but he was not my vote-but i wasn't crazy about either choice-but i'm also not the most political person either!
My whole family are super republican but my sister is a democrat so it's always fun at family get together's.
Alexis is a cool chick on horseback. I have friends who are very into their horses-such a great thing for kids.
:)
thanks for the shout out.
