Move Mountains

We received an update from Le Ann at New Horizons For Children. It seems that our host kids have ran into a problem with their Passports/Visa's. We need everyone to pray for this Mountain to be moved! The problem is that the social worker that promised to do some paperwork on behalf of the kids - did not do what she said she would! So MIR (the group in Russia that handles the host kids paperwork) applied for the kids passports and now we will wait to see if MIR is able to get an appointment with the US Embassy for the kids Visas!

We need every to pray specifically that the US Embassy will give the kids their Visa in enough time for them to make the trip with the entire group on Dec 16th OR a smaller 2nd group that might come on Dec 24! Even if the siblings are not able to make the Christmas trip - ALL money that we have raised to bring them will be rolled over to the summer hosting program, so they can come this summer. But we are still hopeful that they will be with our family this Christmas! Pray, Pray, Pray! I can not imagine the pain that these kids will feel when they see their friends coming on the trip - while they stay behind in the orphanage!

Our 3 host children are not the only ones that have ran into some road blocks... please also pray for these children:
Angelina - you may remember her. We had picked Angelina before we heard about the sibling group. Pray for her paperwork issues to work out!
Ashlee - This is Le Ann's "daughter" that she and her husband have been trying to adopt for 10 years. They met and fell in love with her when they adopted their son. Le Ann visits with her during her many mission trips to Russian, but they would really like to have her with their family this Christmas! Pray for her paperwork issues to work out!
Sasha - Little boy who has Cystic Fibrosis. He is currently in the hospital and too weak to travel. Pray for his health.

This is the same problem our Ukrainians had last summer. I hope they are able to work it out in time.

My prayers are with you and the children. They certainly deserve a fun time at the Trawick's.

Holly-I will be praying that the bumps are worked out for the kids. Very irritating to rely on governments.

Ps - thanks for putting our button up!
