We LOVE the penguins.... 2 of our favorite quotes from Madagascar are "Smile and wave boys, smile and wave!" and "Cute and cuddly boys, cute and cuddly!" The kids will say "cute and cuddly" and then give me the puppy dog eyes whenever they are in trouble! LOVE IT!
We are back from the movies and this is what everyone had to say (we are going to be careful not to spoil the movie for those that have not seen it):
Alexis: "It was funnier than the first one. My favorite Character was the Grandma!"
Jackson: "It was very, very funny! My favorite Character was Alex the lion!"
Jonathan: "It was fantastic! AND... I liked Moto-Moto!"
Josh: "It was funny! Those penguins sure are witty."
Holly: "Great family movie. I was rolling, laughing out loud and trying memorize some of the funny lines. "
I will say this about movie theaters.... Look out I am getting on my soap box! What a rip off! It was $40 for us to go to the movies and that is with me sneaking in 2 Ziploc bag of popcorn, a sippy cup for Jon, 3 bottles of water, a sprite for Josh and a small bag of candy. Yes, I have a huge purse! And yes I embarrass my whole family with my "mom purse" but I save so much money! But seriously, you would think with the economy the way it is they would cut back on the price of admission! Now I am off my soap box... It was a great night out with the kids.

I am so glad it was good. The reviews i heard (which i don't hold my stock in anyway) were that was bad. I wanted to take Sean to see it today but then Joe had to work and Sean got invited fishing-so Leeza and I just hung out. I keep saying I am going to nap while she is, but I keep finding blogs to read. It's such an addiction!
Maybe Sean and I can go see it tomorrow if he gets some of his research paper done-guess what he is doing it on...KAZAKHSTAN!
I sneak food into the movies too-and there is just 2 of usuually going!! It's so expensive-I agree!
We always go out to breakfast to our favorite "donut shop" on the beach on saturday. you have to try it next time you are here...anyway-I was going to share my egg sandwich with Leeza cuz she had a banana at home. NO WAY-she ate my whole egg sammich and half a donut....LOL
I had to order another one for me....talk about expensive! :)
