With all of the media hype about long lines at the voting poles, I was very concerned as I set out with 3 children to vote this morning... but I am happy to report that I was in and out in about 5-10 mins! No big deal!
Funny story...
One of the election workers reminded me NOT to let my children touch anything! I politely smiled and said ok not a problem, But I was thinking - Lady, I only have my well behaved child with me (Josh was out in the van with the boys) - if I had the boys with me then we would have problems! Jonathan would be telling everyone what to do and Jackson would be complaining that it is taking too long! And of course Jack likes to touch everything.
I also had to remind Alexis that she could not campaign for her "people" while we were in there! She really got into this.

well the election is over. I'm not sure who you were for-but it's done-and now we'll see what happens. Our economy is a real mess-let's see if he can fix it.....
